The TV Menu Service allows patients to
chose their meals from their bed, without staff using paper or having to collate information.

The patient television is connected to a set
top box that in turn connects to a central PC,
which can be used to update menu choices
and receive orders from patients.

The menu is updated from the central PC by
the appropriate staff member. The patient controls the service menu using a menu enabled patient handset, which is connected to the call point master as usual.

The menu service connects via a dedicated
Ethernet network.
